Research Methodology

What sources we use, how we verify pricing and integrations, and why information on this site has a "last verified" date.

Sources

We prefer primary sources: a vendor's own website, pricing page, integration directory, help documentation, and press releases. Secondary sources (trade press, G2/Capterra listings, LinkedIn company pages) are used to corroborate claims, not as the sole basis for a factual statement. Every substantive page lists the sources reviewed to build it.

Pricing verification

Most insurance agency software uses quote-based or tiered pricing that isn't fully published. Where a vendor doesn't publish exact numbers, we describe the pricing model and link to the vendor's pricing or demo-request page rather than inventing a figure.

Integration verification

An integration page is only published when we've found the vendor's own documentation, integration marketplace listing, or support article describing the connection. Where a status can't be confirmed, we mark it "unconfirmed" rather than assuming it exists.

How comparisons are built

Comparison pages are built from the same structured data behind each product's individual profile: pricing model, agency size fit, lines of business, and feature set. A comparison can't drift from what the underlying profiles say.

Information changes

Software pricing, features, and integrations change frequently. Every page shows when it was last updated and last verified. Older "last verified" dates mean a page is due for re-review, not that it's necessarily wrong.
